The annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting from New York has just finished, so I’m gonna make a quick summary of what went on there!

As most of you probably already know, this meeting is held between 26-28 September. During these three days, 1000 leaders from all around the world (from areas such as business, government, education, NGOs and so on) gathered to debate and propose new solutions in 4 big social areas: global warming, poverty alliegnation, education, global health. And also to give a report to what they did in the last years… Only the fee for participating at the CGI is 15000$.

Of course, some stars went there only for their image, to donate money, but there are some who really make a difference… Such as Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, for example! Brad Pitt promised this year 10 million $ for the Katrina refugees, and Angelina showed her dislike concerning the war funds (among other problems they discussed).

Tony Blair, Andre Agassi, Rupert Murdoch, Jessica Biel, Petra Nemcova, Mary Louise Parker, and many others also attended the CGI…
